Great to be invited by Jillian Kilby to join the The Stable Group Australia in Dubbo NSW for the kick-off meeting on the Orana Hunter Connections and Beyond – Golden Highway Transport Study.
The Stable Group Australia team is undertaking an independent study to develop a business case for the future development of the transport solutions (with a focus on road and rail) for the route between Newcastle and Narromine (and everything in between) in NSW.
The Stable Group Australia is a boutique consulting company firmly fixed in its commitment to make an impact and leave a legacy of change in regional Australia. The company maintains a significant panel of expert consultants and is readily able to tailor a range of specific services required by the client. The Stable is able to demonstrate an impressive record of success in: Defence Industry, Policy and Organisation; Government relations; Engineering and Project Management; Communications and Information Technology; Transport, Freight and Logistics; Aviation and Maritime operations; Health Policy, Protection and Response; and Infrastructure Projects including Water, Energy, Railways and Fuel.
Some of the factors that are changing the projections for freight in regional NSW:
• Reduced restrictions on the Port of Newcastle, allowing them to operate as a container terminal.
• Inland Rail.
• Parkes Special Activation Precinct.
• Mining of rare earth minerals.
• Transition to renewable energy.
• Population shifts since COVID.
